The new recording studio in Florence
Recording an album 10 years ago was an investment that only a few people could afford. Inadequate equipment (mostly analogue) , high cost management and an indeterminate time to realize a project made discography a business possible only for large music corporations (BMG-Warner-Epic...). Profitability was often elusive. Worthy artists remained unrecorded or were recorded in substandard conditions with less than optimal results. Today, thanks to new technologies, it is possible to achieve better production in a studio, at a far lower cost than before. Producing a record is now done in half the time and digital editing allows operations that were not possible 20 years ago. Technology in time develops according to the demands of the market and the widespread use of computers and digital equipment has caused a great change within the music industry. The big studios of the past are closing down due to high cost management. Today, new labels and independent producers now have the possibility to enter into the world of discography. The market has entered a new era of self-determination and creativity, together with the speed and flexibility of the digital age. Thanks to these changes, Arkadia Recording Studios was founded in Florence (Firenze), Tuscany, in 2002. Arkadia Recording Studios offers the best and latest state-of-the-art equipment with class A, high-speed performance, and acoustic rooms constructed for the best sound response possible.
